Coming this October 6th (10/6/2009), one of my favorite TV shows, Scare Tactics, is back with an all new season (Scare Tactics Season 4). What? You haven't heard of this TV series yet? If so, here's a summary of Scare Tactics TV show: Set up by friends and loved ones, unsuspecting victims are placed into elaborately staged scary situations involving movie-style special effects and makeup. The horror hoaxes are skillfully designed to tap into the wildest fears of the prank's prey. This is what scare tactics is all about.


In Scare Tactics, viewers laugh along to the hilarious reactions of the show's "stars" as they are caught off guard and on camera. It's like Candid Camera or Just For Laughs but this episode scares the victims to the bones. Anyway, be sure to check your local listings for the time and availability of Scare Tactics Season 4 in your area. Sci Fi/ SyFy holds the exclusive rights to air all new episodes of Scare Tactics Season 4.

Coming this October 2nd, the much awaited series premiere of Stargate Universe happens. Stargate Universe (SG-U or SGU) is a spin-off from the original Stargate series, and will have a two-hour special movie premiere this Friday night. Want to experience more action and watch the Stargate saga continue on Stargate Universe. Again, don't miss the series premiere / pilot episode of Stargate Universe entitled as "Air". For sure, millions of Stargate TV viewers are very eager to watch this new intergallactic series.

Here's a summary / preview of Stargate Universe TV series, another good reason to stay up late every Friday nights:


After unlocking the mystery of the Stargate's ninth chevron, a team of explorers travels to an unmanned starship called the Destiny, launched by he Ancients at the height of their civilisation as a grand experiment set in motion, but never completed.

What starts as a simple reconnaissance turns into a never ending mission, as the Stargate Universe crew discovers the ship is unable to return to Earth, and they must now fend for themselves aboard the Destiny.

The crew will travel to the far reaches of the universe, connecting with each of the previously launched Stargates, thus fulfilling the Destiny's original mission. Challenges will arise though as the ship comes into range of Stargates placed centuries ahead of the Destiny and the crew is unable to control the ship's navigational schedule. If someone is left behind, there is no way to go back for them, adding to the drama of encountering new races, enemies and adventures.
