With Rescue Me Season 5 finale last Tuesday, many are asking for an all new season, and with the late success and great increase of the previous season of Rescue Me, FX Network announced that there will be a new season, Rescue Me Season 6 coming on 2010. Although no fixed and official date has been announced for the release of this, I'm pretty sure that the staff are already working overtime on it. For those who are new to the Rescue Me fever, this series is about the professional and personal lives of a group of New York City firefighters in the fictional Ladder 62 / Engine 99 firehouse.


As announced last August 28, 2009, FX decided to end the series in 2011 after it has released seasons 6 and 7. The finale is expected to coincide with the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Also, there are rumors of a movie version of Rescue Me, something I'm sure will be very interesting to watch.

Coming this September 1st, Shaq vs. continues to roll for its third episode. Shaq's next challenge will be a home run derby, against, guess who: Albert Pujols, the first baseman of the St. Louis Cardinals. During the first two episodes of Shaq vs, Shaq has been defeated, vs. Ben Roethlisberger (Final Score: 21-14) and Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh (Final Score: 11-6, 11-8). 90210 is the edgy and contemporary spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210. Oh yeah, I remember this classic drama series that was very hot and popular during my youth. The CW added some new twists to this series, first giving it a short but catchy title, "90210". Then they adopted the series to the current generation. Dixon and Silver's relationship will suffer due to two new characters, Sasha, an African-American woman who pursues Dixon, and Teddy, a tennis champ who pursues Silver and later Adrianna. Annie will also go through hard times and feel isolated from the group, Dixon will abandon her because he gets "sick of her drama" when nude photos of her surface. Silver will reconnect with old friends Adrianna and Naomi.

PBS will be releasing a sequel to the Electric Company TV series with an all new season (Season 2). The Electric Company is based on the classic 1971 series. Last January 2009, season one garnered good rating especially on young adults. With this comeback, I'm sure that millions will again be watching the all new episodes of The Electric Company Season 2 starting September 7th (9/7/2009).


So what is the Electric Company TV show all about? Well, its about four teenagers with superpowers. They task is to defend their neighborhood from the Pranksters. To get to know them better, read below:


The Electric Company Members


* Hector Ruiz: the tallest and oldest member of the Electric Company. He has the power to replay any image that he sees, much like a video camera. Hector is very athletic and coordinated, but sometimes slow on the uptake.

* Jessica Ruiz: Hector's younger sister. She has a power similar to her brother's-she can replay any word or phrase that she hears, much like a tape recorder. Jessica is occasionally brash, especially when it comes to dealing with the Pranksters.

* Lisa Heffenbacher: A sweet, well-liked girl. She has the power to unscramble any anagrams that she finds at astonishing speed, and can even change letters with enough concentration. Lisa is loved by everyone in the neighborhood, even though she is rather clumsy.

* Keith Watson: The youngest member of the Electric Company. He can generate images in mid-air, which comes in handy when explaining difficult words. Keith is logical and level-headed, and frequently creates solutions for dealing with the Pranksters' tricks.

* Shock: A short-order cook at the Electric Diner, where the Company converges when trouble occurs. Shock rarely speaks directly—instead, he beat-boxes and uses his hands to act out ideas.


The Pranksters

* Francine Carruthers: The leader of the Pranksters. She has the same power as the Electric Company-the ability to generate "word balls" and throw them. Francine has a very high opinion of her own intelligence, and most of her plots involve making herself look good and defaming the Company.

* Annie Scrambler: A girl who is frequently envious of the accomplishments of others. She has the power to scramble any word or sentence with a stomp of her foot. Annie is often jealous of the Electric Company's good luck, and usually works with her uncle Sigmund, a hypnotist, to get back at her rivals.

* Danny Rebus: A suave, sophisticated Prankster. He can turn any sentence into a rebus; most of his messages are made to make fun of the Electric Company. Danny is very proud, and often charges the Electric Company with making him look bad, prompting revenge.Danny Is also very touchy.

* Manuel "Manny" Spamboni: The largest and loudest of the Pranksters. He is the only member of the group that does not have any powers, but he is quite skilled in the art of robotics and mechanics. Manny is rude and crude, and uses his many gadgets to make trouble for the Electric Company

PBS Kids will be releasing an all new children TV show this September 7, 2009, its Dinosaur Train! This show is produced by Jim Henson Productions. This new children TV series was created by Craig Bartlett (also the creator of Hey Arnold!). Each day, Dinosaur will help kids ages 3 to 6 to apply scientific thinking as they discover new types of dinosaur species, compare and contrast dinosaurs to today's creatures and embrace the living sciences of paleontology and natural science.


Dinosaur Train Season 1 is expected to receive a warm welcome from the US and worldwide audiences. The first time this show will air will feature four consecutive episodes and will be releasing the next succeeding Dinosaur Train episodes, one per day. All new episodes of Dinosaur Train will be released from Monday - Friday, at 04:30 pm. Watch full free Dinosaur Train Season 1 episodes exclusively from PBS.

A sad day for all Iglesia Ni Cristo members. Iglesia ni Cristo the executive minister, Eraño Manalo and son of the founder, Felix Manalo, has passed away yesterday (August 31st 2009) at the age of 84. Iglesia ni Cristo news has reported that INC spokesman Bienvenido, Manalo died at 3:53 p.m. yesterday in his home in Quezon City due to cardiopulmonary arrest. A public viewing will be opened this afternoon at the Templo Sentral of the INC in Quezon City. The date of Manalo's burial is not yet announced as of this time.


Manalo took over the INC after the death of his father and the church's founder, Felix Manalo, in 1963. INC is well known for their block-voting principle wherein their leader chooses the names of the politicians that the members will vote, and so far, almost all those they have supported got the position.
