The Iglesia ni Cristo executive minister, Eraño "Ka Erdy" Manalo was finally laid to rest today, September 7, 2009. In line with this event, this day has been declared as a special non-working holiday and heavy traffic is expected on areas where car carrying Ka Erdy's body will pas through. Millions of INC members throughout the nation attended the burial service. Also, almost every politician who are seeking candidacy this coming May 2009 are in attendance. Ka Eduardo Manalo, Ka Erdy's son, is expected to be named as Iglesia ni Cristo's new leader.
