The CW will have the exclusive premiere of One Tree Hill Season 7 tonight, Sept 7th 2009 (Monday), starting at 8 PM ET. On One Tree Hill Season Premiere we saw some new faces, especially after Chad Michael Murray (Lucas) and Hilarie Burton (Peyton) are not returning to Season 7 of OTH. I know you're all wondering what will happen to the One Tree Hill series especially now that the two main characters are gone.


Here's what happened on the last episode of One Tree Hill Season 6, so we could pick up where the series left off:

- Lucas and Peyton had a baby girl, and Peyton's health problems seemed to be all resolved.
- Nathan got called up to play in the NBA for the Charlotte Bobcats.
- Millicent decided to stay in Tree Hill with Mouth.
- Brooke reunited with Julian in Los Angeles, patched things up with her mother, and seemed poised for world domination with her clothing label.

Two reality TV shows had their finale last night with the winners of the respective competition finally revealed. What am I talking about? Well, the finale episodes of There Goes the Neighborhood by CBS and HGTV's Design Star 2009. First, the winners of There Goes the Neighborhood are the Johnston Family. The members of the family are Cameron (51), Regina (44), Carliegh (11) and Theresa (25). The Johnston family bested the Schindler in the season finale to claim the $250,000 jackpot prize.


On the other show, HGTV revealed that the winner of Design Star 2009 is Antonio Balatori. Antonio defeated Dan Vickery in the Season 4 Finale. The judges of the show are Genevieve Gorder, Candice Olson, and Vern Yip and is hosted by Clive Pearse. Now, many are looking for a preview of Design Star Season 5. I also wonder when will it be released.

Last night was not all about the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards / VMAs. Two of the top-rated TV shows in America every Sunday nights ended with a bang. The King of the Hill Series Finale and True Blood Season 2 Finale were two episodes that were witnessed yesterday by millions of TV viewers not only from the US but also worldwide. After 13 years and 13 full seasons of King of the Hill, the producers decided to end the series on the 13th of September. Well, 13 seems to be an unlucky number for the King of the Hill TV series. I'm sure KotH fans will miss them badly.


Also, HBO had their share of TV viewers as the red-hot True Blood Season 2 TV series aired its last episode, True Blood 2x12 last night. True Blood Season 2 Episode 12 is entitled as "Beyond Here Lies Nothin". Just trivia guys, did you know that Bob Dylan's 2009 studio album, Together Through Life has opening track with the same title, "Beyond Here Lies Nothin"?

Kanye West Apologizes to Taylor Swift.
Last night, Kanye West did the unthinkable. As Taylor Swift was having her speech as the fans voted for her to win the Best Female Video of the Year, Kanye West rushed into the stage and grabbed the mic from an obviously shocked and speechless Taylor Swift just to spit out his unwanted comments that Beyonce should have won, not Taylor. After the arrogant move, Kanye West was booed out of VMA Awards. Taylor Swift was not able to finish her speech as her time has lapsed. Many saw young Taylor crying at the backstage of the show.


Hours later, Kanye West was able to update his site. He posted an 'apology' to Taylor Swift, MTV, VMA staff and the world on his actions.

I think this Blog apology by Kanye West is just pure crap. Just reading it, you can tell that its not sincere and is another publicity stunt. As expected, the site was flooded with hate comments. Hope you sleep well tonight, Kanye West. By the way, Taylor Swift had redemption later on the VMAs, Beyonce gave her moment to Taylor. Are you happy now?

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) was indeed filled with controversies. From Lady Gaga's exotic outfits and bizarre performance to Kanye West's interruption of Taylor Swift's privilege speech, well you ain't see nothing yet. During the VMA LIVE performance of Jay Z and Alicia Keys, the two were interrupted by Lil Mama. Who's Lil Mama? Lil Mama is a rapper and a judge from "America's Best Dance Crew". But that does not justify her from interrupting two of the best performers in the world. At one point of the Jay Z / Alicia Keys performance, Lil Mama messed around with Alicia Keys saying "You T-Paining right now".


Although Jay Z was shocked and surprised of Lil Mama's uninvited interference during their VMA performance, in the end, Lil Mama got the attention she was wanting all along. Twitter users around the world starting twitting about the topic #Lilmamais which even ended up as Twitter's No 1 Trending Topic at the end of the day.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was a night filled with all the brightest stars in the music industry. But the night kicked off with tears, as Janet Jackson and Madonna had their VMA performance, a Tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Both Madonna and Janet Jackson were teary-eyed during their VMA performance but gave a wonderful show to the thousands fans watching LIVE from the Radio City and to the million others from their TV sets at home.

Early in the VMAs, Taylor Swift bested Beyonce for the category of Best Female Music Video, which prompted Kanye West to interrupt Taylor Swift during her speech. Then at the closing moments of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce was ultimately awarded the Video of the Year award for her hit single, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". Beyonce was supposed to have her speech but instead, she gave the microphone to young Taylor Swift, something the fans at the Radio City cheered about.
