For those who haven't known yet, Kanye West did the unthinkable last night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. As Taylor Swift was about to deliver her speech after receiving her first VMAs Award as the best female video award for "You Belong With Me", the arrogant Kanye West rushed to the stage, ripped the mic off Taylor Swift's hand and argued that Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was more deserving. Yesterday, Kanye West posted a more sincere apology on his blog, kanyeuniversecity.com, saying "I feel like Ben Stiller in "Meet the Parents" when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave... That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."

The second apology blog post was not the end of Kanye West's quest to improve his destroyed image, as Kanye West appeared on Jay Leno show to offer a public apology on the air. "It was rude, period," Kanye West said in a sit-down interview with Jay Leno. The rapper also said that he plans on talking to Taylor Swift in person to offer his apologies. Continuing with Kanye West on Jay Leno Apology, he released this statements:

"So many celebrities, they never take the time off. I've never taken the time off to really -- you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, 'cause, and I don't try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That's period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve."

Yes, you read it right. Kanye West will take an indefinite leave from the music industry to redeem his lost pride and glory, and to find his true self.
