Hoarders Season 1 is the newest reality TV show in the US, which premiered last August 17th 2009. For some, hoarders may seem to be negative, pertaining to being selfish and self-centered. So maybe your wondering why this TV series is entitled as Hoarders, right? Hoarders TV series is about the lives of two people, Jennifer and Ron, with a mental disorder that causes them to obsessively collect things, even if the items unnecessary and unneeded. It shows their effort to get help and recover.

Both Jennifer and Ron, parents of three children, are hoarders, with their home quickly filling up with mementos of past infancies. It's so bad that Jennifer fears child services will be called. Jill owns two freezers and four refrigerators, yet it still doesn't seem to be enough, because they are packed full. Jill fears her landlord will evict her soon because she has lost her job.
