Jim Press - Suwichada Busamrong Press faces $1.35 M tax charges

This will be my first news post on this site for quite a long time now. I believe its 6 AM on some parts of US, while its exactly 8:30 PM here in the Philippines. Let me begin this day with our Woman of the Hour. She's no other than Suwichada Busamrong Press. Who is Suwichada Busamrong Press? Suwichada Busamrong Press is the wife of Jim Press, was a former Toyota top executive for 37 years, and is currently on of Chrysler's top three executives. According to reports, Jim Press and his wife, Suwichada Busamrong Press are facing a tax evasion case for not filing more than $1.35 million for unpaid federal taxes and a personal loan.


Authorities say that Jim Press and Suwichada Busamrong Press purchased a multimillion-dollar, 6,900-square-foot luxury home in the Detroit last year which amounts to $2.2 million mortgage with ING Bank. That six-bedroom mansion is now up for sale at $3.15 million and this is were that tax authorities stepped in.


Well, if you ask me, Jim Press and his wife Suwichada Busamrong Press are only two of the richest man in America and even around the world that is cheating their own country by not paying the correct tax. The sad thing is, only the rich people can do manipulations like this, but employees (like me), we are required to pay the correct tax, even though it seems not worth it.
