Coming this Halloween (November 1) 2009, VH1 presents a very unusual and first-of-a-kind reality TV show, Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew Season 1. I'm sure many conservative critics will be raising their eyebrows on this new series. Just a brief background on Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, every one knows that sexual compulsion afflicts roughly 6% of the American population and carries the same devastating consequences as any other addiction.Sex isn't even pleasurable for those who are already addicted. Some people treat it as a way to escape the pain of past loss, childhood trauma, abuse and abandonment.


Like many other addictions, their habits can cost them their jobs, their marriages, even their lives. Despite all this, the affliction is often dismissed because it's not understood how something as natural and beautiful as sex can be an addiction. On this series, join Dr. Drew Pinsky as he try to treat a group of patients suffering from this addiction. Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew will run for eight, one hour episodes.
