Last night, Kevin Skinner's dream came true. On the America's Got Talent 2009 Finale, Kevin Skinner stood tall above the rest. Just recently, Kevin Patrick Skinner's name was added to wikipedia, referring to him as "an American country music singer from far western Kentucky and the winner of the fourth season of America's Got Talent." Early in his life, Kevin Skinner played in a band called Skinner and Friends (with Jennifer and Rodney) and had gigs in Wrangler's Campground in the Land Between the Lakes and Hill's Bar-B-Que near the Kevil Korner.


If you might still recall, Kevin Skinner's America's Got Talent Season 4 audition, wowed the whole nation when he sang Garth Brooks' "If Tomorrow Never Comes". During the competition, Kevin Skinner also performed "Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan and "Always on My Mind" by Brenda Lee. On America's Got Talent 2009 Finale Performance Night, Kevin Skinner's masterpiece was 'I Don't Want to Miss A Thing', which garnered enough votes from judges and audiences, for him to bag the America's Got Talent 2009 title and bring home the grand prize package.
