Vampire Diaries is a new and upcoming TV series based on the best selling novel by L.J. Smith, also entitled "Vampire Diaries". The plot of Vampire Diaries Season 1 revolves around young and beautiful Elena, who are torn between two vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore who are struggling with each other to win the heart and soul of Elena. Vampire Diaries Season 1 is set on Mystic Falls, Virginia. The executive producers for this new CW series are Leslie Morgenstein, Bob Levy, Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.
