Ramadan (Ramadhan or Ramazan or رمضان) is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It an annual event celebrated by Islams / Muslims worldwide which is started with almost a month long full fasting, and is capped with a massive celebration and happenings. On some countries, like here in the Philippines, the last day of the Ramadan is declared as a special non-working holiday. I just hope that this would be the same this year as a war between Christians vs. Muslims / Government Army vs. Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) & MILF is currently ongoing in Southern Philippines. Reports are released that the army will not stop tracking down the terrorists group, who recently killed 23 soldiers in an encounter, even during Ramadan 2009 period.
So for those who are interested to see / know the Ramadan 2009 calendar, please see below (covering the years 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015):

* Last five odd days: Laylat al-Qadr
I'm a Christian but I respect this annual religious event by Muslims. I just pray the worldwide war and hatred among Islams and Christians will finally cease. Come to think of it, we are all brothers (Ismael and Isaac are both from Abraham). Happy Ramadan 2009!
