Bab al-Hara (باب الحارة) simply means "The Neighbourhood's Gate" in English translation. It is the most popular TV series in the Middle East. The setting of Bal al Hara is on the very poor city of Gaza to the richest places in the Persian Gulf. The series is set in a neighborhood in Damascus, Syria in the inter-war period under French rule when the local population yearned for independence. With the Ramadan coming soon, this is definitely a TV series to watch by Islam people (or Muslims). Bab al Hara gives us a view of Muslims, Christians, Druze and Jews from the Arab countries.
